Position: Wildlife Technician

Location: Novi, MI

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
  • Additional Compensation:
  • Signing Bonus: Generous bonus offered based on experience and qualifications.
  • Commission: Opportunity to earn additional income through commission on services provided.
  • Yearly Performance Bonus: Achievable bonus based on performance metrics and client satisfaction.

Job Description: As a Wildlife Technician at Critter Evictors, you will play a crucial role in inspecting, trapping, removing, and excluding various wildlife species from residential and commercial properties. Your problem-solving skills, understanding of wildlife behavior, and customer relations will be essential in effectively resolving wildlife conflicts while maintaining humane practices and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to identify wildlife entry points and damage.
  • Utilize safe and humane trapping methods to capture and remove wildlife.
  • Install exclusion materials and provide recommendations to prevent future wildlife intrusions.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain services, address concerns, and offer wildlife management advice.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, reports, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in wildlife management or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in wildlife control, pest control, construction, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong customer relations skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and comfort working with tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to lift and carry equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
