What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Nursing Assistant-Ortho position at CRMC?
POSITION SUMMARY
- The primary function of this position is to provide assistance to the physicians and nursing staff to maintain smooth Orthopedic, Spine, and Interventional Pain (OSIP) clinic function. Responsibilities include assisting the clinic nursing staff with the rooming process for patients in the clinic. When a patient has completed their XR in the radiology section, the Nursing Assistant would escort the patient to the exam room and complete the rooming process with the patient (vitals, etc.).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED or must be on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire. Requires one-year experience providing hands on patient care.
American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Good understanding of medical terminology
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide appropriate care for patients who will be undergoing or are recovering from orthopedic surgery.
