Restaurant General Manager
Job Summary:
Crockett Enterprises, Inc. seeks a skilled Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations and marketing functions of our full-service restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of staff to meet and exceed company performance standards and improve restaurant potential.
- Develop a trusting atmosphere that encourages feedback from team members and guests; coach and manage staff according to company policy.
- Serve customers with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, providing great tasting food and a clean environment.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-quality team members, creating a culture of respect and recognition.
- Achieve financial objectives through effective management of people, product, service, and facility processes.
- Oversee payroll, accounting, inventory, and personnel documentation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws.
- Adhere to safety standards, follow company guidelines on vendor relationships, and stay informed about competitive practices.
Requirements:
- Servant leadership style, setting an example when working alongside team members.
- Ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop people to unleash talent within each team member.
- High School Diploma (or GED) required; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in the full-service restaurant industry preferred.
- Proficient planning and analytical skills, including understanding financial calculations and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational understanding of POS software.
- A valid driver's license is required.
