Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback, Busser and Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in ensuring that our bar is stocked and guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Bartender, kitchen and service staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by providing support during peak service times, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Help Bartender by stocking beer, liquor and filling Ice.
- Keep both the downstairs and upstairs bars stocked and ready to serve guests
- Provide excellent hospitality by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, including roles in catering, bartending, or food service.
- Familiarity with bar backing, Bussing tables and food running.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced setting.
- 100% ID check before serving alcohol to guests.
