Marketing Coordinator- Office Catering

Hi. My name is Kurt Linneman, Executive Chef and Owner of Crocodile Café & Catering in Wayne, PA. I am looking for someone who loves working in the restaurant business and can help market our locally-owned, small family business.

Successful candidate should have a proven track record building business-to-business sales. We need a cold-blooded professional, who- once given the basic parameters of the job- can take the ball and run with it.

Super tech-savvy (there is a test pre-hire)

You love the challenge of developing campaigns that sell.

This is a part time position, Monday through Friday (if possible) 8am to 1 pm. However, I am extremely flexible for the right person. I will consider full-time if you are would like to take on additional responsibilities. Or we can do maybe just 3 days a week if that suits you better.

Job Description

Find New Customers- work through our marketing plan.

Post content, videos & photos (FB, instagram, X, Tik Tok)

Lucrative commission.

Find New Employees- post help wanted ads in really, Facebook, local schools, etc. Preferably certified in Meta business suite.

Some Project management- work with management to figure out how to do a job we have never done before

Organize & Market Cooking Classes- 3 or 4 per year currently

Off-Premise Catering- as required when it gets really busy

· Highly organized with great time management skills- in fact, you have even read about time management before.

· Go-getter, ability to take charge of projects and get things done.

· Excellent verbal & math skills- tested pre-hire

· Clean, professional appearance

· Should live within 25 minutes of our location.

OTHER THINGS WE NEED…
- Able to read (and write) quickly and follow a marketing plan.

- Live within 25 minutes of King of Prussia.

- Driver's license with no more than 3 points. No DUI within the last three years.

We are the largest, off-premise office caterer in the western Philadelphia suburbs (10 full-time employees, 5 part-time, 2 managers). We also have a café that serves lunch Monday through Friday.

We specialize in fresh food with lots of color and strong flavor profiles (barbeque, salsas, soups, all kinds of salads, pasta dishes, lots of ethnic, vegetarian, and regional American specialties).

Turnover is low. In business since 1988. Strict no smoking. . . inside and out.
