Position Summary:
The Foundation has an exciting learning opportunity available for a Finance Intern. This is a chance to work within a leading non-profit organization to gain firsthand knowledge on accounting and finance operations that help an organization accomplish its mission. This role would provide exposure to the overall field of Finance and Operations. We are seeking someone for this internship who is high-energy, detailed oriented and a self-starter with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
The 8-week Summer Internship Program will run from June 9 - July 31. This is a hybrid internship with 2 days/week in the Foundation's New York City office and 2 days/week remote.This is a hybrid internship with 2 days/week in the Foundation's New York City office and 2 days/week remote.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance and Operations Departments with return on investment analyses of our fundraising efforts to assess their effectiveness and impact, ensuring resources are used strategically and value is maximized.

Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Interest in Accounting and Finance areas of focus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with BI tools preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Interest and comfort level with data analytics preferred.
- Must be pro-active, self-directed, detail-oriented and organized, as well as work independently in a virtual setting.
- Ability to interact professionally with multiple and diverse cross-departmental stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines (with supervision).
