Fence Installer/General Laborer

Croix Area Fence is looking for experienced and hardworking individuals to install residential and commercial fences including chain link, cedar privacy, aluminum and vinyl in River Falls and Western Wisconsin. Will train individuals on the jobsite. Prior construction, landscaping and/or welding experience is a plus but not required. Starting wage $17 per hour with no experience. Pay up to $40 per hour for qualified individuals.

What to expect:

• Work Tuesday – Friday some Mondays.
• Typical hours of 7am to 5pm.
• Use of company tools and equipment.
• Paid every other Friday.
• Work around River Falls, Hudson and Roberts WI.

Responsibilities:

• Installation from start to finish of all types of residential and commercial fences.
• Driving post with pneumatic post driver or drilling and/or hand-digging holes and setting post in concrete.
• Carrying and laying out materials.
• Loading and unloading of trucks with proper tools and materials to complete the job.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized jobsite, shop and yard.
• Utilize various power tools and equipment.
• Gate fabrication including welding, grinding, cleaning and painting of gate frames along with assembly of chain link and vinyl gates.

Requirements:

• 18 years or older.
• Pass a back ground check.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT health card.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop/office.
• Ability to work 8-to-12-hour shifts depending on size of job.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling throughout the day.
• Love to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
