Shop Technician, Full Time
Salary Range: $33.00/HR to $40/HR DOE - $2,000 Sign On Bonus
Branch Location: Fresno
Technician Assigned Service Area: Santa Maria

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of forklifts at our customer locations. The Field Service Technician will be provided a company service van with parts inventory to provide repairs.
Job Duties:
- Answers phone calls from technicians and customers, providing technical support to fix issues.
- Assists technicians to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair issues properly.
- Perform forklift planned maintenance services and breakdown repairs.
- Maintain a company service vehicle and parts inventory.
- Perform in a team environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a good attendance record.
- Maintain positive customer relations and approach all situations in a tactful and professional manner.
- Lift 50 lbs or more.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical certification preferred.
- 2 - 4 or more years of forklift maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry preferred.
- Other maintenance experience will be considered (military, automotive/diesel, building maintenance, etc.)
- Must have own hand tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Dock leveler and roll-up door experience, a plus.
- Have a valid NV Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Basic computer knowledge.
