SUMMARY: Crook County Senior Senior Services is a Non-Profit organization providing services to the senior citizens in Crook County. The individuals in this position represent our company via face-to-face interaction and also by telephone with our customers on a daily basis, so smiles, positive attitudes and good customer service skills are a must.
Education, experience, personal qualifications:
· High School graduate or GED
· Able to follow oral and written instructions.
· Computer skills and knowledge of Windows, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database, etc.
· Clean, well-groomed appearance.
· Punctual and reliable.
· Relates well with other employees and the general public - especially senior clients.
· Basic computer skills, knowledge and attention to details.
· Self-starter, able to initiate action.
· Able to organize and prioritize needs.
· Ability to be resourceful and level headed during an emergency.
· Physically able to lift/carry fifty (50) pounds, bend and kneel.
· Able to follow oral and written instructions.
· Able to maintain confidentiality.
· Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Ability to handle more than one task at a time.
- Provide Program Executive Director written reports, as requested.
- Support total program.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Manage files and documents. Confidentiality is mandatory.
- Process daily, monthly sheets and maintain accurate records of receipts.
- Maintain inventory of supplies.
- Completes and submits required paperwork in timely manner, i.e. time sheets, client activity sheets, monthly schedules, reimbursement forms, etc.
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls.
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail.
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports.
- Assist with billing and accounts receivable following CCSS fiscal policy.
- Assists in the coordination of all activities and works with the Site Managers, Transportation Manager, Cooks and Access Care Coordinator, other staff to enhance the programs.
- Assist with social media, website, and other publications.
- Assist with loan closet.
- Transport public and seniors to destinations.
- Deliver Home Delivered Meals to homebound seniors.
- Attend work when scheduled, on a regular and dependable basis.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Strong skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret and effectively explain department policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude, exhibit integrity and be a positive agent for change.
Terms of Employment
- At-will Employment.
- Full Time position: (40) forty hour a week- Monday through Friday, not to exceed forty (40) hours per week.
- Maintain client and project confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain TSI training, Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Maintain Blood-Borne Pathogen Certification.
- Comply with the CCSS, Inc. Operational and Elder Abuse Policies and the Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- Submit to a Drug and/or Alcohol Test upon request.
· Housed out of the Sundance Administration Office, with offices in Moorcroft and Hulett.
· Must pass a Central Registry check and finger print background check and pre-employment drug test.
· Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described; a typical qualifying background would include experience working in a housekeeping environment involving public contact.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading and writing. The employee is also required to maintain physical condition necessary for operating office equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time, carrying, pushing and or pulling, some stooping and crouching and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
