Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. This role involves performing physical tasks and utilizing various tools and equipment to assist in the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform tasks such as tile laying, plastering, and hardscaping.
- Support carpentry work including door hanging and roofing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and construction equipment.
- Experience with concrete is a plus
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of general/framing carpentry
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.34 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
