Job Description:
A CT technologist uses computerized tomography to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. This role involves working in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, where you will prepare patients for CT scans, operate CT equipment, process images for radiologists and physicians, and handle patient records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Operate CT equipment, following proper protocols and procedures
- Process images for radiologists and physicians, providing high-quality diagnostic information
- Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
