Job Description

Cross Country Locums is seeking a Primary Care physician for a contract position in South Dakota.

Scope of Work

• Diagnose and treat medical and minor surgical illnesses, perform follow-up, and obtain consultation for medically complex patients of all ages who present for care in an urgent care setting.
• Work shifts will typically be 8 to 10 hours and will be worked between the hours of 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, including holidays. Occasionally additional hours may be required.

Requirements

• Board certified, eligible, or have partial completion of an accredited residency program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience within Family Medicine/General Medicine within the past 36 months, and must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
• Proof of current immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu) status and a current PPD within the past year.
• CV in Month/Year format with no unexplained gaps.
