Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Analyst III to join our team. This senior business specialist and technology generalist will align technology solutions with business strategies. You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance business processes through technology while advising stakeholders on system functionalities, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. Acting as a technical liaison, you will collaborate with various vendors and provide expert guidance on complex projects or strategic planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and apply technology solutions to enhance business processes.
Serve as a technical liaison and broker services with various vendors.
Provide technical guidance and business process expertise for complex projects.
Research and advise on strategic planning from both a technical and business standpoint.
Collaborate with IT teams, end users, and departments to integrate business and technology needs effectively.
Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure financial and budgeting system accuracy.
Support implementation, configuration, and maintenance of financial and budgeting systems.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
Infor or a related ERP system, with a strong understanding of its functions and capabilities.
Research finance, including grants, funds, and project accounting.
Understanding of direct and indirect burdens.
Strong accounting acumen.
Preferred Experience
Business process re-engineering or process improvement.
Strategic use of technology for business management and growth.
Organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation.
Financial and budgeting system implementation and maintenance.
Data analysis and reconciliation.
Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of assigned business area's products and processes.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Project management experience, capable of handling multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Problem-solving skills across multiple business areas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A technical understanding of the Infor data model is a plus.
