Manager, Core Lab

The Manager, Core Lab oversees clinical laboratory sections and support functions, providing leadership to supervisors and optimizing patient care. This role defines performance standards, monitors quality measures, and manages staff and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee lab operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and implement goals, budgets, and program improvements.
- Manage staff performance, payroll, and evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Medical Laboratory Scientist Certification or eligibility for a Tennessee Medical Technologist license within 120 days
- Must be eligible to obtain Medical Laboratory Supervisor license within 6 months of start date
- Experience in a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab preferred
