Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop tailored treatment plans that promote independence and functionality.
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy techniques to improve patients’ daily living skills, motor functions, and overall well-being.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education opportunities, and community outreach programs as needed.
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensure: Active Occupational Therapy license in [State] or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience: Previous experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
