This position is primarily responsible for prospecting, networking, and selling new personal lines business while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other industry professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a Property & Casualty license and staying up-to-date with Continuing Education requirements.
- Understanding and following company procedures and workflow manuals.
- Keeping accurate notation and documentation in agency management and sales systems.
- Meeting annual sales goals and following up on open suspense's daily.
- Servicing and selling personal insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with company personnel.
- Providing quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
Requirements:
- Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
- Organizational skills, including prioritization and time management.
- Working knowledge of AMS360, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams), ACORD forms, and various quoting platforms.
- Proven ability to network and develop leads.
- Excellent sales presentation and closing skills.

- Mentoring inexperienced sales professionals.
- Servicing certain high-profile accounts.
- Consulting and working with leadership on the direction of the sales team.
