What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at Cross Lanes YMCA Child Development Center?
Cross Lanes YMCA Child Development Center is currently seeking Teaching Assistants to provide a caring, safe, and nurturing learning environment for the children in our care.
Shift: 12:00pm-6:00pm, Monday through Friday
Teaching Assistants shall have a general knowledge of the core competencies of early childhood education; work with young children under the guidance of the Lead Teacher; coordinate daily lessons and activities in the absence of the Lead Teacher; and carry out daily lessons and activities under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least eighteen (18) years of age, have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience, and pass required background checks including sex offender registry.
Pay scale based on degrees, certifications, and/or professional development.
