Job Title: QC tech finish
Department: Production
Job Summary:
Quality Control Technicians are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of trailers before they proceed to finishing and/or shipping.
QC Tech Responsibilities:
- Performs 100% Visual Inspection of welds
- Inspects other aspects such as part placement and measurements
- Checks work order accuracy
- Reports to Supervisor about any quality deficiencies in final product
- Reports mistakes or welding problems and tracks the Daily Information
- Maintain accurate records in a data entry system
- Report the outcome of each part and/or trailer inspected
- Performs project specific inspection
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience with Visual Inspection in a Manufacturing Environment
- Proficient in the use of Inspection Tools and Measuring Equipment such as
Tape Measure and speed square
- Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to Work well in a Team oriented environment or individually
- Experience as a Welding Inspector or as a Qualified Welder is preferred
The Quality Control Technician generally works from 6am-3pm M-Thurs and 6am- 12pm on Friday. When working overtime, you can expect to work from 6am-4pm M-Thurs, 6am-3pm Friday, and 6am-12pm Saturday.
