- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a settlement or payment plan according to client and agency guidelines
- Negotiate timely debt payments
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and status
