Work from Home Full-time in the states noted below
Remote (AL, AR, AZ, MN, MO, NV, OR, TX)
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a settlement or payment plan according to client and agency guidelines
- Negotiate timely debt payments
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and status
Requirements:
- High school diploma; Associates/Bachelors degree is a plus
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
- Previous Collections experience is a plus
- Knowledge with the laws related to debt collection (e.g. FDCPA, UDAAP, HIPPA); experience is a plus
- Computer Skills
- Comfortable working with targets and goals
- Patience and ability to manage stress
- Ability to maintain professionalism and kindness in challenging situations
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
