CrossCom National is the single source partner retailers depend on for in-store communications networking requirements. Job Summary
The Staging and Configuration technician will be responsible for configuring communications technology and ensuring 100% quality to meet or exceed customer expectation.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble all components according to job specifications and quality control standards.
- Configure servers, network, POS, peripherals and voice communications systems to end user specifications.
- Complete equipment specific quality assurance checklist.
- Identify and report defects or problems with parts and equipment to the Technical Center Manager.
- Label equipment with site ID, IP address and MAC address.
- Pack staged equipment with all consumables in appropriate boxes.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow written technical specifications.
- Ability to grasp and work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb 12’ ladder.
- Ability to distinguish colors and work with small and large objects.
- Ability to stoop and reach for products and parts.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Perform all other duties as required or requested
