Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Staging Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will prepare, assemble, and test advanced medical imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for deployment to healthcare facilities and specialized environments, including military installations. This role is critical to delivering safe, reliable, and compliant solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation:
- Assemble and configure medical imaging systems, including X-ray devices, generators, and imaging software.
- Customize equipment based on specific client.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform functional and diagnostic tests to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the staging process.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, test results, and adjustments.
- Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards, including FDA, IEC 60601, and ISO 13485.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in medical device staging, assembly, or field service engineering.
- Hands-on experience with X-ray systems or other medical imaging devices preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
