Construction Engineer
Location] Bloomington, MN preferred

About the Role

As a Construction Engineer in Wireless Construction, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining America s largest and most reliable cellular network. You will manage internal and external partners, oversee construction and maintenance for a regional network of cell site projects, and ensure project success by meeting deadlines, specifications, and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project designs, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking key milestones, action items, and dependencies.
- Analyze project changes and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules.
- Provide regular project status reports to management and teams.
- Oversee RFQ issuance, evaluate responses, and recommend the best vendors.
- Manage regional network projects, including 4G / 5G Macro Construction, site modifications, expansions, and system upgrades.
- Work closely with Real Estate, Equipment Engineers, and Facilities Engineers to resolve site construction challenges.
- Partner with external vendors, including General Contractors and Architectural & Engineering firms, to ensure projects meet industry standards and local codes.
- Lead planning sessions with stakeholders and Operations Managers to address project scope, issues, and deliverables.
- Ensure proper project documentation, including closeout packages, budget tracking, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor capital plans, track spending, and perform monthly reconciliations.
