Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processor to join our team in a hybrid role, processing and managing customer payments with precision and accuracy. As a Payment Processor, you will be responsible for handling both manual and electronic payments while ensuring exceptional attention to detail in all financial transactions.
Payment Processor Responsibilities
- Process and post customer payments accurately to corresponding accounts, managing 100 checks daily through the Genesis payment system
- Conduct daily research and reconciliation of check payments to ensure proper account allocation and maintain financial accuracy
- Verify payment accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment errors promptly while maintaining detailed documentation
- Collaborate with internal team members to resolve complex payment situations and maintain accurate financial records
- Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned by the team leadership
