About The Role
A leading utility provider is seeking Business System Analysts to support the Distribution Support Operations Team within the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). This role will focus on data management, database updates, display maintenance, and SCADA updates within ADMS. The selected candidates will help manage increased workload and manual processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ADMS SCADA database, display builds, and database linking in commissioning of Distribution and Substation Automation Devices.
- Maintain and update the Distribution System Model as required.
- Perform Data Maintenance, Display Maintenance, Network Model Maintenance, and Advanced Application support for distribution and substation systems within ADMS.
- Execute database and display updates for all SCADA and manually controlled devices in the distribution/substation model using pre-set templates.
- Provide analytical documentation and high-level analysis to support business processes.
- Ensure compliance with NERC qualification requirements, system security, and documentation standards.
- Participate in biweekly accountability meetings and provide weekly reports on business process support.
- Develop and maintain new and modified DMS displays and databases.
- 3-5 years of experience with ADMS systems in a manual environment.
- Strong IT background supporting utility operations.
- Experience with SCADA applications (3-5 years).
- Knowledge of substation operations below 138kV and distribution voltage systems (3-5 years).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience with real-time IT/server configuration is a plus.
- Project Managers with substation experience (without PMP) will be considered.
- Engineering background with SCADA and ADMS experience also acceptable.
- Location Requirement: Must be local to Pennsylvania (Plymouth Meeting, PA, Delaware, or surrounding areas).
- Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week (No exceptions).
- Start Date: ASAP – Manager reviewing resumes immediately.
- Laptops and training will be provided to ensure successful onboarding and execution of duties.
