Event Logistics and Stockroom Coordinator

Pay Rate: $23/hr W2 no benefits

• Candidates must be local to Long Island
• Candidate must have own car for travel in Long Island- mileage is reimbursed
  
  

Position Overview

We are seeking an Event Logistics and Stockroom Coordinator to support our Community Outreach team's initiatives across Long Island. This role combines hands-on event logistics with inventory management, requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The position offers a flexible 40-hour work week, with occasional weekend work required for community events.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute 40-60 community outreach events annually, including setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics management across Long Island and the Rockaways
• Manage event supply inventory, including tents, chairs, tables, and promotional materials
• Process incoming shipments and maintain organized stockroom operations
• Provide logistical support for community partnerships, including delivery of materials to vendors and organizations
• Assist with event scheduling and coordination
• Represent our client at community events and manage promotional displays
• Perform administrative tasks and data entry when not managing events
• Set up and operate AV equipment for events
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle capable of transporting event equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule availability, including some weekends
  
  

Experience

• Entry-level candidates and recent college graduates will be considered
• Typically requires up to 4 years of relevant experience
• Previous event coordination or logistics experience preferred
