Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Core Network Engineering and Implementation team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in engineering our new eNSE platform within data centers across the United States, working with our National Network Build Team to transition from VXLAN to cutting-edge network solutions.
Network Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Layer 1 equipment installation and fiber testing, creating detailed Method of Procedures (MOPs)
- Engineer and deploy directional networks for Intelligent Edge, including SAP ENSE Fabric and 5G connectivity
- Configure and troubleshoot network equipment, including Cisco CRS, Company, ASR 9K, and Juniper MX series
- Develop network configurations from design models / templates for implementation during maintenance windows
- Oversee network builds from procurement to "In Service" status
- Work with cloud platforms and virtualized environments to support private cloud tenant onboarding
- Collaborate with PNF and VNF applications teams to engineer network solutions
- Mentor new team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing
