Responsibilities
As a Satellite Network Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in a Tier I monitoring and initial triage capacity within a Satellite Network Operations Center. This position requires comprehensive support for complex systems in a dynamic 24 / 7 environment, ensuring the reliable operation of satellite communication networks. This role involves shift work, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Key responsibilities include :
- Network Monitoring & Maintenance :
Proactively monitor and direct repair activities for Very Small-Aperture Terminals (VSAT) networks.
Provide technical assistance to field technicians, vendor personnel, and operations center teams.
Handle calls from internal and external customers in an ACD environment.
Ensure network and network management tools meet predefined service reliability standards.
