Job Title: Sr. Acquisition / Logistics Analyst
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Sr. Acquisition / Logistics Analyst to support PEO Missiles and Space (M&S) Integrated Fires Programs. We're looking for someone with deep acquisition logistics experience in a PM / PEO and who has a strong understanding of Integrated Product Support.
Duties include the following:
•Individual will be deeply ingrained in all facets of the PEO Missiles and Space (M&S)Integrated Fires Program's coordinating across multiple disciplines to ensure thatcohesive Acquisition, Logistics Support efforts, Sustainment Supply Strategies, andSupply Chain Management policies are relevant and available for the current andfuture baseline system(s). This is done by ensuring that he or she participates invarious IPT's and working groups and reviews the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)between the Project Manager (PM) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)are in accordance with the user requirements and the programs Product SupportStrategy (PSS).
•In addition to monitoring the development of acquisition products and sustainmentsupport requirements. There may be a need to utilize approved analytical tools to assistin the development of product support strategy flowing down requirements to all IPTmembers. Analytical tools consist of Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), SupportabilityAnalysis (SA), Reliability Growth Analysis, Core Logistics Analysis/Core DepotAssessment, and Business Case Analysis processes.
•Ensuring critical and strategic thinking (i.e., analysis, assessment, conception, andcollaboration) are vital to the decision-making process and that applicable courses ofaction (COAs) are created and implemented to address major issues/challengesassociated with the IF programs.
•May serve as a Lead for an IPT or WG to support the PEO Missiles and Space (M&S)Integrated Fires Programs objectives.
Qualifications
•US Citizenship is required.
•Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigationat the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
•Highly desired experience with PEO MS systems such as IBCS, LTAMDS, Sentinel,IFPC, and/or PATRIOT
•Master's degree with 10 years or Bachelor's degree with 18 years' experience
•10 years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management in a Gov't Office
•10% Travel
•Must have a demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team
•Must have strong communication skills and possess technical writing skills
•Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required
