Position Description:
Outpost Technologies is seeking a talented Sr. Acquisition/Logistics Analyst to provide support for PEO Missiles and Space (M&S) Integrated Fires Programs. We are looking for someone with deep acquisition logistics experience in a PM/PEO environment and who has a strong understanding of Integrated Product Support.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support PEO M&S Integrated Fires Programs’ coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure that cohesive Acquisition, Logistics support efforts, Sustainment Supply Strategies, and Supply Chain Management policies are relevant and available for current and future baseline system(s)
- Participate in various Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Working Groups (WG)
- Review master schedule between the Project Manager (PM) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and ensure they are in accordance with the user requirements and programs Product Support Strategy (PSS)
- Monitor the development of acquisition products and sustainment support requirements
- Utilize approved analytical tools to assist in the development of Product Support Strategies, flowing down requirements to all IPT members. Tools may consist of Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Reliability Growth Analysis, Core Logistics Analysis/Core Depot Assessment, and Business Case Analysis processes
- Ensure applicable courses of action (COAs) are created and implemented to address major issues/challenges associated with the Integrated Fires Programs
- May serve as a Lead for an IPT or working group to support the PEO M&S Integrated Fires Programs’ objectives
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Must have an Active and Transferable DoD Security Clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Master’s Degree with 10 years OR Bachelor’s Degree with 18 years of experience
- 10 years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management in a Government Office
- 10% Travel
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team
- Must have strong communication skills and possess technical writing skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PEO MS systems such as IBCS, LTAMDS, Sentinel, IFPC, and/or PATRIOT
