Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise the work of assistant superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors.
- Determine work priorities and coordinate activities.
- Oversee construction contracts and apportion work among employees.
- Provide a safe work environment and hold individuals accountable for safe behavior.
- Work with the owner to coordinate plans and construction activities.
- Sources material suppliers and estimates materials required for construction.
- Maintain inventory and control over tools, materials, and equipment.
- Write and maintain daily records and communicate with the office.
- Hold weekly coordination meetings between subcontractors.
- Responsible for the overall project schedule and quality control.
Requirements
- Asphalt, concrete curb and gutter, and GPS knowledge are required.
- The position requires strong organizational and leadership skills.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in construction site management and supervision.
