Title - Territory Sales Manager


Base salary - $80,000 - $100,000


Salary package - $170,000 - $190,000


Primary Responsibility, Scope of Work, KPI Management, complexity:

• Develop new sales opportunities for Buses.

• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective new customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.

• Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

• Utilize the company’s NetSuite CRM program to maintain and monitor pipeline of leads and opportunities.

• Attends conference and trade shows to represent the company in a professional and positive manner.

• Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers.

• Participates in trade shows and conventions.

• Maintains acceptable driving records that reflect a safety-conscious attitude.

• Embrace and model the Company’s Core Values.

• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

• All other duties assigned by Commercial & Transit Director

• Work closely with OEMs to ensure productive timelines/communication on all orders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)


• Sell stock and aged inventory.

• Attain sales and gross profit goals (monthly, quarterly, annually).

• Execute and optimize NetSuite.com.

• Work with vendors to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveries within forecast.

Work Environment:


This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and occasional weekend work. Travel Travel is required in the assigned region. Some overnight travel is required to attend tradeshows and OEM sales meetings outside of sales region.


Education and Experience:


• 5 years professional sales experience.

• Bus transportation and/or heavy-large equipment or related component sales experience.

• Maintenance of an acceptable driving record.

• High School Diploma or GED.


Preferred Education and Experience:


• Bachelor’s degree.

• 10 years professional sales experience.

• CRM/NetSuite.com expert.

• Valid Commercial Driver License Class B.

• Computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
