The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording Company performance on a day-to-day basis and assisting in the bi-weekly payroll process. Finance/Accounting Essential Duties

Finance/Accounting Essential Duties
- Assist with data entry & general accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping and financial data for multi-company transactions.
- Create & maintain monthly reconciliations.
- Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations.
- Assist with annual audit.
- Invoice and follow up on accounts receivable with customers.
- Cross-train on accounts payable functions.
- Analyze and communicate trends.
- Support ad hoc projects and report requests.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- Experience using NetSuite, preferred but not required.
- Understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
- Great attitude, coachable and positive demeanor.
- Thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and demonstrates initiative when faced with challenges and competing priorities.
- Ability and willingness to develop knowledge of other software and database management systems as needed.
- Must be able to handle confidential materials with discretion. Reliable, trustworthy and insightful, with a strong moral compass.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
