Director of Family Foundations
Location/Schedule: Western North Carolina region, Weekdays 8:30-5:00 with some weekend and after hours support and flexibility. Some remote work. Availability to travel throughout Western NC to support teams where Family Foundations is implemented, Availability for after-hours crisis and on-call staffing, serves as back-up to on-call, ability to travel locally and regionally for stakeholder meetings.
Your Impact: The Director of Family Foundations is responsible for the implementation, oversight, and supervision of the Family Foundations program. As the Director of Family Foundations, you will lead a program designed to empower families through enhanced in-home clinical services, providing the support they need to thrive. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of child welfare by integrating trauma-informed practices into every aspect of the program. Additionally, you will build and sustain meaningful partnerships that strengthen community impact, ensuring that children and families receive the comprehensive care and resources they deserve.
Hiring Range: $70,000 - $78,500 annually

Education/Licensure:
- Master degree from an accredited college or university in a human services or related field.
- Must meet one of the following licensed discipline categories: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor(LCMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of mid-management to upper-management leadership experience in Child/Family Clinical Services or a related field. Crisis intervention supervision experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and families in a prevention program, mental health setting, or child welfare system.
- Knowledge of and experience working with the NC Child Welfare system is strongly preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight
- Lead the implementation and fidelity of the Family Foundations model.
- Provide 24/7 on-call consultation and crisis support to staff.
- Ensure compliance with NC DHHS Intensive In-Home Service standards.
Training and Development
- Facilitate ongoing training and skill development for program staff.
- Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement plans.
Leadership and Supervision
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment.
Budget and Fiscal Management
- Develop and manage the program budget to meet financial goals.
Community Engagement
- Build partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Advocate for the program’s mission through outreach and marketing.
