Location/Schedule: Winston-Salem, NC, on-site; 1st shift Monday - Friday, with some weekend/evening hours depending upon events/program needs

Hiring Range: $44,500 to $50,000 annuallyBenefits:

Education/Experience/Licensure:
- Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in education, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of full time experience required in administrative operational functions including general office tasks, calendar scheduling, record keeping, with knowledge of finance, HR, and task management.
- Experience with social services organizations, schools, or medical field preferred.
- Experience supporting Principals or school leadership preferred.
- A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
The Student Support Services Coordinator will be responsible for:
Student Information Management:
Student Information Management:
- Enter and maintain student data (attendance, medical information, enrollment, withdrawals) in the Student Information System (SIS).
- Communicate with staff and respond to inquiries about student attendance and other student-related information, ensuring FERPA compliance.
- Compile and prepare files for administrators, teachers, and guidance staff.
- Generate and review reports (grades, attendance, bus stops, enrollments, withdrawals, etc.) for accuracy.
Testing Administration:
- Organize and coordinate school-wide testing schedules, working closely with administration.
- Develop site-specific test administration plans and assign test administrators, proctors, and accommodations.
- Train and supervise test administrators and proctors on ethical testing practices, test security, and accommodations.
- Ensure testing security and proper handling of materials, submitting results to administration and overseeing testing procedures.
- Address any test anomalies and misadministration, documenting issues and following up with appropriate action.
Instructional Support:
- Support teachers in delivering the NC Standard Course of Study by coaching on classroom management, pedagogy, and content knowledge.
- Lead focused academic conversations, promoting effective instructional strategies.
- Analyze and report data to improve student achievement and contribute to Professional Learning Teams (PLTs).
- Assist with state assessments and professional development workshops.
Parent and Family Engagement:
- Plan and coordinate parent engagement activities, including workshops and meetings, based on stakeholder input.
- Build partnerships with families and the community to support student learning and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with federal guidelines (ESSA), maintaining records and communications regarding parent engagement activities.
Other Duties:
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the principal, adhering to Title I guidelines and ESSA requirements.
