JOB TITLE: Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor - Full Time.
REPORTS TO: Plant Operation Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Housekeeping /Laundry Supervisor is responsible for running the housekeeping and laundry department’s day to day operations dditional responsibilities include, up keeping training and supervising the personnel within the department.
DUTIES:
- Willingness to accept the most effective role.
- Oversees daily operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.
- Responsible for supervising all Housekeeping and Laundry Attendants.
- Ensures all employees are trained and are preforming tasks correctly.
- Ensures all employees are maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
- Train new housekeeping and laundry staff and complete training checklist.
- Organizing training for the staff..
- Assists the Plant Operation Manager with interviews for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for outstanding repairs of machinery.
- Assists in other areas of the Housekeeping Department when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years’ old.
- Weekends and Holidays required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable and also ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues.
- Education high school or equivalent education required.
- Minimum one year or housekeeping/laundry experience in hotel industry.
