General Description
The JHM Coordinator is a FULL time position and is responsible for building and leading a volunteer team that provides administrative support, ministry coordination and overall assistance for the junior high ministry and its pastor.
 

Essential Job Functions

1. Coordinate, recruit, train and direct teams of volunteers for JHM

2. Assist in developing and executing yearly JHM ministry plans

3. Manage financial requisition forms, budget and purchasing for JHM

4. Project Manage all JHM events including camps, off campus events and on campus events

5. Assist with planning, implementation, and facilitation of all services & events

6. Attends two JHM Weekend services and JHM Wednesdays and is available before, during, and after service for any administrative or service needs

7. Ensure volunteer coverage for JHM Wednesdays and weekends

8. Track and report JHM metrics using our database (CCB)

9. Enter and maintain accurate data on students and leaders in CCB

10. Ensure communication with parents, leaders, students about ministry and events via CCB

11. Create and maintain assimilation processes in JHM for both leaders and students

12. Attend all JHM related events

13. Assist in keeping a pulse on the volunteer staff to ensure alignment with Crossroads DNA

· Data Manager:  Captures, tracks, warehouses, reports on and applies data

· Develops clear, systematic data management practices and procedures

· Organizes data by creating a structure for the collected data that shows the relationship of a piece of data to other data

· Warehouses data effectively so it can be accessed readily and easily

· Oversees data administration and movement

· Draws warranted inferences from the data

Project Manager:  Oversees a project and creates and maintains an environment that guides the project to its successful completion

· Identifies and communicates the processes involved in the initiation phase of a project

· Works with staff to develop a work plan with tasks, timeframes, milestones, resources and dependencies

· Identifies key stakeholders in the project

· Recognizes and analyzes influences impacting the project 

· Develops and manages the scope of the project

· Describes in detail the process of resource allocation (including human resources, cost, and time estimates) 

· Uses resources efficiently and manages projects effectively within budget limits

· Ensures quality standards are met

· Anticipates potential problems, institutes controls and contingency plans to address them

· Monitors project progress and evaluates performance

 Education and Experience
This position requires a minimum of 1 year volunteer or work experience as an administrative assistant with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, data management, internet navigation and other related applications.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
