What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver position at Crossroads Community Services Board?
We are seeking a Part-Time Van Driver. You will work a daily split shift of approximately 28 hours per week. You will be transporting individuals to and from our Day Support Program in Kenbridge, Va. using an Agency vehicle. Work days will be Monday- Friday. The route will originate and end in Kenbridge, Va. The daily split route starts at 6:30am- 8:30am and the afternoon shift is 3:00pm-6:00pm. You must be available to work a flexible schedule, have an acceptable driving record and a valid Virginia Driver's license.
KNOWLEDGES OF:
1. The disability of mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities.
2. Vehicle operating procedures.
3. Basic computational math.
4. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) security and privacy regulations as they relate to the protection of confidential medical information and personal health information as required by law, professional ethics and accreditation requirements.

1. Work effectively and establish positive working relationships with people who have a wide variety of backgrounds, disabilities, and levels of functioning.
2. Determine appropriate levels of interaction with passengers.
3. Maintain control of a vehicle at all times.
