What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Administrative Assistant position at Crossroads for Women, I?
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Provides administrative and clerical support to Children and Mothers Residential Program
- Updates the program bed board daily
- Answers and directs calls; keeps general program telephone message updated
- Supports the verification of insurance, eligibility for food stamps, fee agreements and consent forms
- Creates client charts
- Informs Billing of client transfers (including hospitalizations) and discharges
- Enters TDS information in Program Tracking for admission and discharge.
- Enters check list data into Program Tracking.
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail and internal mail disbursement
- Supports the Disburses and tracks Petty Cash; locks up clients’ valuables.
- Inventories, orders, and maintains program supplies
Minimum qualifications for this position are, high school diploma or equivalent, experience in an administrative position, preferably for a health or in a behavioral health setting.
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
