What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Intern position at Crossroads Health?
Crossroads Health provides a continuum of quality life-changing behavioral health and specialized chemical dependency treatment services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families. As a leader in the behavioral health field, we offer a vast array of programs and services that evaluate, educate, strengthen and support thousands of children, adults and their families each year.
The Clinical Intern position offers support, observation, and interventions within the agency, specific to program needs and setting. This position is responsible for individual and group services as well as professional development in their field of study. This student will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Intern include but are not limited to :
- Observe, co-facilitate, and provide trauma informed services to clients and their family system within the agency specific to program needs and setting.
- Seek and secure professional development consistent with licensure and credential requirements for personal and organizational growth.
- Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.
- Provide consultation and collaboration with community partners and clients' treatment teams. Promote Crossroads Health services and engage in outreach activities.
