We’re a growing private lending firm for real estate investors in the midwest. We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Closer & Funder to take deals from clear-to-close to wire with confidence and speed.
The Role:
You’ll own the last mile of the loan process—coordinating with title, verifying docs, balancing settlement statements, and ensuring smooth, on-time funding. You’re the one who makes sure the i’s are dotted, the t’s are crossed, and the wire hits right on time.
Responsibilities:
• Review final loan approval and prepare closing instructions
• Coordinate directly with title/escrow companies to balance and finalize HUD/CD
• Confirm insurance, entity docs, and all required conditions are in place
• Prepare funding packages and initiate wires
• Ensure compliance with internal policies
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve last-minute issues to keep closings on track
Requirements:
• 5 years experience closing/funding hard money or private real estate loans
• Deep understanding of title, insurance, wire procedures, and closing docs
• Highly organized and detail-oriented—no room for errors at the finish line
• Calm under pressure and able to handle high volume
• Familiarity with LOS / LMS systems
