Duties
As the Kitchen Manager, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced, nutritious meals and snacks in compliance with CACFP guidelines.
- Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations.
- Order, receive, and inventory food and kitchen supplies while managing costs within budget.
- Manage food production records to meet CACFP meal requirements and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies to ensure the safety and inclusion of all children.
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate meal service and create a positive dining experience for children.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Christian values and incorporate them into daily operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management (experience with CACFP is a plus).
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations (ServSafe certification preferred).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- A heart for serving children and families in a faith-based setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in nutrition or food service is a plus.

- Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Pay: Starting at $13.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)
