Material Handler (Paint)

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Our Opportunity:

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Paint Line Attendant is responsible for loading, unloading, packing, and moving materials from or near the paint booth, ensuring all tasks are performed according to established procedures and safety guidelines.

Your Responsibilities:

• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials to be moved, loaded, or unloaded near the paint booth.
• Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey the load to its destination.
• Accurately count and record the number of units of materials moved.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and securely band them together.
• Lift heavy objects manually or with power hoist/crane.
• Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the paint line area.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Physical requirements: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds when turning parts over, depending on the part being painted.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
