A leading company in the machining industry is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. This role is focused on ensuring products meet quality and specification standards throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods to verify conformance to specifications.
- Conduct visual and measurement tests in accordance with company guidelines.
- Operate CMM equipment (proficiency in PC-DMIS required).
- Document inspection results, including completing First Piece reports.
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping procedures.
- Handle and move parts weighing up to 30 pounds.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with GD&T and various inspection equipment.
- Availability to work the second shift (four 10-hour days, Monday-Thursday) with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
