Sanitation Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the sanitation team to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Develop and implement sanitation protocols in compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, GMPs, SQF, BRC, and GFSI guidelines.
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain adherence to food safety and quality standards.
• Oversee Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide training and guidance on sanitation practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including Train the Trainer LOTO, Fall Protection, MEWP, & OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
• Perform machine safety inspections and maintain sanitation activity records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety and quality.
• Utilize basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and team management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in HACCP, FSQA, and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA).
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required (30-Hour preferred).
• Forklift licensed with safe operation experience.
• Ability to conduct machine safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.

Salary info:

$20 - $26 / hr
