Middle School Core Teacher

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop, plan, and implement lesson plans and interactive assignments that align with the Core curriculum, as well as the school’s mission, goals, and values

• Guide and support students in using learning materials and technology effectively

• Foster students' creative and analytical thinking to enhance their learning experience

• Possess a strong command of subject matter knowledge and effective pedagogical methods

• Work collaboratively with the Core teaching team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently

• Create a stimulating, organized, and inclusive learning environment that supports a diverse range of learning styles

• Continuously develop, adapt, and update the curriculum to meet the evolving needs of students

• Use a variety of assessment styles to evaluate student progress and engagement

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA) required; Master’s degree (MA) preferred

• Experience: 3–5 years of Middle School teaching experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and faculty

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning

Salary : $75,000 - $127,000
