Job Description
Will oversee the administrative functions of law firm specializing in corporate law, real estate, litigation, employment law and estate planning. This role includes managing day-to-day operations, working closely with the firms managing partners and management committee, implementing best practices, and driving operational efficiency. Firm Management As a member of the Firms Management Committee, work closely with the Managing Partner and Partners by contributing to the overall strategic planning and decision-making processes that drive the firms operations and success. Prepare agendas, financial information and supporting documentation for Management and Partner meetings. Financial Management Oversee the financial management of the law firm, including budgeting, financial reporting, billing, and collections. Ensure that the firm meets its financial targets and maintains a strong financial position. Engage and work with outside CPA firm regarding accounting issues, partner compensation, firm tax returns and Partner annual K-1s. Partner Compensation As a member of the Compensation Committee, provide financial and historical information to support the committees Partner compensation recommendations. Prepare and oversee calculations of Partners quarterly profit distributions. Retirement Plan Management Oversee the Firms 401k Profit-Sharing retirement plan, working closely with plans external advisors regarding plan investments and participant education. Work with the plans third-party administrator regarding plan documentation, year- end testing, and annual tax return. Insurance Risk Management Oversee insurance procurement and management of general liability, building, earthquake, professional liability, employment liability, and workers compensation insurance interface with Firm management and insurance brokers regarding issues of risk management. Compliance Ensure that the firm operates in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Stay current on chan Skills Required
Bachelors in business administration, finance or related. 5 years of experience in professional services administration. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting and billing. Exp managing HR, recruitment and training Skills Preferred
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
