πΌ What Youβll Be Doing:πΉ Lead mechanical building system startups & commissioning activities.
πΉ Review and provide expertise on product submittals, shop drawings, design plans & RFIs.
πΉ Ensure top-tier safety compliance with OSHA & industry standards (Lock-Out, Arc Flash, Electrical Safe Work Practices, etc.). π¦ΊβοΈ
πΉ Apply knowledge of building codes & professional standards (IBC, NEC, NFPA, ASME, ASHRAE & more). πβ
πΉ Work with contractors & vendors for equipment testing, installation, commissioning & handover. ππ€
πΉ Manage weekend & plant shutdown work with teams across multiple departments.
πΉ Conduct regular worksite inspections to ensure quality, compliance & smooth operations. ποΈπ
πΉ Oversee mechanical contractors, ensuring projects hit key milestones & deadlines.
πΉ Provide detailed field engineering status reports to Project Managers. ππ
πΉ Contribute to improving project specifications & standards.
πΉ Communicate complex technical matters with clarity & confidence. ποΈπ’
πΉ Juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet project deadlines like a pro! πβ³
βοΈ 2 years in construction management.
βοΈ Experience in mechanical system design criteria development.
βοΈ 5 years in mechanical design (preferably in automotive, industrial, or manufacturing facilities). ππ§
βοΈ Strong organizational, communication & scheduling skills.
βοΈ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project.
π Experience with AutoCAD & Bluebeam.
π Bachelorβs Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required) π
