Part-Time Matrimonial/Family Law Paralegal (20-35 hours/week) - Crough Law PC
Location: New Milford, CT (Hybrid: Remote/In-Person)
Crough Law PC, a new and emerging small law firm, is seeking an experienced Matrimonial/Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. This is a part-time position (20-35 hours per week) with flexible hybrid work options (remote/in-person). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in family law and a strong understanding of the legal procedures involved in matrimonial and family law matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, and financial affidavits
- Assist with gathering and organizing discovery
- Draft separation agreements and other related legal documents
- Book and manage client consultations
- Trial preparation and document preparation
- Provide general paralegal support to attorneys and clients as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law
- Strong proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, and separation agreements
- Experience with gathering and organizing discovery
- Ability to book consultations and manage client communications
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with Clio a plus
