Crouse’s Addiction Treatment Services team provides a comprehensive system of assessment and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring an Addiction Treatment Counselor.

Pay Range: $22.88-$28.60

Addiction Treatment Counselor Position Responsibilities

• Performs assessments which include the identification of cultural differences in planning for patient care.
• Provides treatment according to assignment to adults and adolescents when appropriate according to accepted standards.
• Incorporates knowledge and theoretical concepts into all facets of interaction with patients.
• Demonstrates competency in the provision of service.
• Formulates diagnostic impressions.
• Determines the appropriate level of care.
• Provides appropriate referral for follow-up.
• Document client notes clearly, concisely and according to policy.
  
  

Addiction Treatment Counselor Position Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field required
• OASAS QHP or QHP Provisional required
• Addiction counseling experience preferred
